KLM

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, officially known as Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V., is the national airline of the Netherlands. Its headquarters are located in Amstelveen, with its primary hub situated at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Established in 1919, KLM holds the distinction of being the world's oldest airline still operating under its original name. As of 2021, the company boasts a workforce of over 35,000 employees and a fleet of 149 aircraft.

In September 2004, the merger between KLM and Air France was successfully completed, resulting in the formation of the largest airline group worldwide. This strategic alliance was expected to generate significant annual cost savings, estimated to range between €400 million and €500 million.

As a member of the Air France–KLM group, KLM is affiliated with the SkyTeam airline alliance. The airline operates scheduled passenger and cargo services, connecting travelers to approximately 150 destinations across the globe.
