Passengers traveling with Virgin Australia have several convenient check-in options available:

Web Check-in

You can use Virgin Australia's web check-in service, which allows you to check in online from 48 hours to 45 minutes before your flight's departure time (or from 24 hours to 90 minutes for international flights).

All you need is an internet connection. If you have bags to check, you can either access a mobile boarding pass or print your boarding pass at home and then drop your bags at a Virgin Australia bag drop counter. Seat selection or changes can be made during web check-in, but if you want to reserve an exit row seat, you will need to check in at the airport. It's important to allocate enough time at the airport for security procedures, baggage check, and other necessary arrangements.

Domestic Flights

Check-in for domestic flights opens 60 minutes before the first flight of the day. If you have a connecting international flight after your domestic flight, it is recommended to check in 90 minutes before your domestic flight to complete immigration requirements. Please allow 120 minutes for flights to/from Abu Dhabi or Los Angeles.

International Flights

Virgin Australia recommends checking in 2 hours before departure for international flights. Check-in opens 3 hours before departure for flights from the Pacific Islands and 2 hours before departure for flights from Australia and New Zealand.
