KLM Royal Dutch Airlines provides a Lost and Found service to help passengers
recover belongings left on board, at the airport, or in KLM Crown Lounges. If
you misplace an item on a KLM flight, the first step is to contact the Lost and
Found office at your arrival airport, as recovered items are generally handed
over to the local airport authorities.
At Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, KLM’s primary hub, the Lost and Found service is
managed through Schiphol’s centralized Lost and Found office. Passengers can
also report missing items online via the Schiphol website or through the KLM
website’s Lost and Found page. When submitting a report, it is important to
provide details such as flight number, travel date, seat number, and a
description of the lost item.
For items lost at other airports, passengers should contact the respective
airport’s Lost and Found department. If belongings are left in a KLM Crown
Lounge, inquiries can be made directly with the lounge staff or through KLM’s
customer service channels.
To improve the chances of recovery, KLM recommends reporting lost items as
quickly as possible. Once located, items may be collected at the airport or
shipped to the passenger, depending on local regulations. Travelers can also
seek assistance through KLM’s global customer service centers, available 24/7.
If you require additional assistance, it's best to contact KLM'
customer service team for further information.
