Qantas provides a dedicated Lost and Found service to help passengers recover
belongings left on board, in airports, or in Qantas lounges. If an item is
misplaced on a Qantas flight, passengers should first contact the Lost and Found
office at the arrival airport, as items are usually handed to the airport’s
authority.
At
Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD), Qantas’ main hub, passengers can reach
the Lost Property office located in the terminal area. Reports can also be
submitted through the Qantas website or by contacting customer service.
Passengers should include details such as flight number, date of travel, seat
number, and a clear description of the item.
For items lost at other airports, inquiries should be directed to the respective
airport’s Lost and Found department. Items left in a Qantas Lounge can be
reported to lounge staff or through Qantas customer service channels.
Qantas recommends reporting lost items promptly to increase recovery chances.
Once an item is found, passengers may arrange pickup or delivery, depending on
airport and local regulations.
Assistance is also available through Qantas’ global contact centers, operating
24/7.
If you require additional assistance, it's best to contact Qantas Airways'
customer service team for further information.
