Passengers traveling with EVA Air have several convenient check-in options available:

Online Check-in

You can check in online between 48 and 1.5 hours before departure. For passengers traveling in Royal Laurel Class/Premium Laurel Class/Business Class, you may have the option to choose from a selection of unique regional dishes between 21 days and 24 hours prior to departure.

Seat selection is available until 24 hours before your scheduled flight departure. It is recommended for international travelers to be at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure.

Kiosk Check-in

EVA Air provides self check-in service at many airports, allowing you to obtain your boarding passes or baggage tags from the airport check-in kiosk, adding to your convenience.

Airport Check-in

Make sure to allow sufficient time to complete check-in, security, immigration, and/or customs procedures. The hours of operation for EVA Air check-in counters and the time required for pre-boarding procedures may vary at different airports. It is recommended to check in at least one hour before the scheduled departure time for international flights, although in large, busy airports with strict procedures, such as those in the U.S., you may need up to three hours.

Passengers with special needs or considerations, such as unaccompanied minors, disabled passengers, or those requiring assistance due to disabilities, should allow at least two hours for check-in and pre-boarding procedures. It is crucial to check in on time as your reserved seat could be released and you could be denied boarding if you are late.

Passengers traveling internationally should be at the gate at least 30 minutes before departure. For specific counter operating hours and recommended check-in times, it is advisable to contact the EVA Airport Office.

Return Check-in

If you are departing from Taipei (TPE), Taichung (RMQ), Kaohsiung (KHH), Hong Kong (HKG), or Macau (MFM) and returning within 48 hours from the same city, you have the convenience of checking in for your return sector at the same time as your outbound flight check-in. This service is particularly helpful for passengers traveling without baggage.
