Cathay Pacific Airways provides a dedicated Lost and Found service to assist
passengers in recovering personal belongings left on board, in airports, or in
Cathay Pacific lounges. If you misplace an item on a Cathay Pacific flight, the
first step is to contact the Lost and Found office at your arrival airport,
since found items are typically handed over to the airport authorities.
At Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), Cathay Pacific’s main hub, passengers
can reach the Lost and Found office located in the arrivals area. Reports may
also be submitted through the Cathay Pacific website or by contacting customer
service. When reporting a lost item, travelers should provide details such as
their flight number, date of travel, seat number, and a clear description of the
item.
For items misplaced at other airports, passengers should get in touch with the
respective airport’s Lost and Found department. Items left in a Cathay Pacific
lounge, such as The Wing or The Pier, can be reported directly to lounge staff
or through Cathay Pacific’s customer service channels.
Cathay Pacific recommends reporting lost items as quickly as possible to
increase the chances of recovery. Once located, items can be collected in person
or returned by delivery, subject to airport and local regulations.
Passengers may also request assistance through Cathay Pacific’s global contact
centers, available 24/7.
If you require additional assistance, it's best to contact Cathay Pacific Airways'
customer service team for further information.
