Passengers traveling with Cathay Pacific have convenient check-in options
available to them.
Here are the different check-in methods provided:
Online Check-in
Cathay Pacific offers online check-in for its flights, as well as Cathay Dragon
flights and onward flights with partner carriers. Online check-in is available
from 48 hours up to 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Passengers can select or change their seats during online check-in. After
completing the process, passengers can choose to print a self-print boarding
pass, receive a mobile boarding pass (where applicable), or collect the boarding
pass at the self-check-in kiosk at the airport (where applicable).
Mobile Check-in
Cathay Pacific provides a Mobile Check-In service, allowing passengers to
check-in using their web-enabled mobile phones. This service offers the same
benefits as online check-in and can be accessed anytime and anywhere, adding
convenience for passengers on the go. No additional application downloads are
required.
Kiosk Check-in
Self-check-in kiosks are available for Cathay Pacific at various airports. These
kiosks support multiple languages and are located at specific terminals.
Passengers can use the kiosks to check-in and select their preferred language.

Airport Counter Check-in
Cathay Pacific recommends passengers to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours
before the scheduled departure time of their flight. However, specific timings
may vary depending on the departure location. For example, passengers departing
from Hong Kong should have their boarding pass at least 45 minutes prior to
departure, while passengers departing from North America or Riyadh should have
their boarding pass at least 60 minutes prior to departure.
Passengers departing from Dubai should have their boarding pass at least 75
minutes prior to flight departure. It is advisable to check with Cathay Pacific
for the exact timings, rules, and procedures that apply during the check-in
process.
