British Airways provides a dedicated Lost and Found service to assist passengers
in recovering belongings left on board, at airports, or in British Airways
lounges. If you misplace an item on a British Airways flight, the first step is
to contact the Lost Property office at your arrival airport, as items are
usually handed over to the airport authorities.
At London Heathrow Airport (LHR), British Airways’ main hub, lost property
services are managed by the airport’s Lost Property office, located in Terminal
3. Passengers can also submit a Lost Item Report through the British Airways
website or by contacting customer service. When reporting, passengers should
include details such as flight number, date of travel, seat number, and a
description of the item.
For items lost at other airports, passengers must contact the Lost and Found
department of the respective airport. Items misplaced in British Airways
lounges, such as the Galleries Club Lounge or Concorde Room, can be reported
directly to lounge staff or through British Airways customer service.
To improve recovery chances, British Airways recommends reporting lost items as
soon as possible. Once located, items can usually be collected in person or
returned via courier, subject to local regulations.
Passengers may also receive assistance through British Airways’ 24/7 customer
service centers.
If you require additional assistance, it's best to contact British Airways'
customer service team for further information.
