Passengers traveling with British Airways have access to convenient check-in options, including:

Online Web Check-in

You can check in online starting 24 hours before your flight. Print, download, or email your boarding pass. If you forget to print it, you can use a check-in kiosk at the airport to print it again.

Online Check-in with the British Airways App

You can also check in using the British Airways app on your mobile, iPad, or Apple Watch. If you are traveling alone, have already selected your seat, and are traveling with only hand baggage, you can check in with just three taps. This option is available for one-way or return journeys using iPhone and Android devices.

Check-in and Boarding Times

For long-haul flights, the check-in closes 60 minutes before departure, and for short-haul flights, it closes 45 minutes before departure. It is recommended that British Airways passengers arrive at the gate at least 10 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth boarding process without rushing.
