Air Canada provides a dedicated Lost and Found service to assist passengers in
recovering belongings left on board, at the airport, or in Maple Leaf Lounges.
If you misplace an item on an Air Canada flight, the first step is to contact
the Lost and Found office at your arrival airport, as recovered items are
generally handed over to the airport authorities.
At Toronto Pearson International Airport, Air Canada’s primary hub, the Lost and
Found office is located within the terminal facilities. Passengers can also
submit a Lost Item Report online through the Air Canada website. When filing a
report, it is important to provide details such as your flight number, travel
date, seat number, and a clear description of the lost item.
For items misplaced at other airports, passengers should contact the respective
airport’s Lost and Found department. If belongings are left in an Air Canada
Maple Leaf Lounge, inquiries can be made directly with lounge staff or via Air
Canada’s customer service channels.
To improve recovery chances, Air Canada recommends reporting lost items as
quickly as possible. Once located, items can typically be retrieved at the
airport or shipped to the passenger, subject to local regulations. For
additional support, travelers can also reach out to Air Canada’s global contact
centers, available 24/7.
If you require additional assistance, it's best to contact Air Canada'
customer service team for further information.
